"An unassuming hidden restaurant in Batangas. We went here on the way to Lemery and enjoyed the antique and classy vibe for a backyard restaurant of its kind. We tried their ribs and carbonara, both were absolutely good but the carbonara takes the cake for me. Good service and good food for sure Would definitely recommend to others around the area looking for dinner and would definitely want to go back."

"Went on lunch with my wife and son here and we were pleasantly surprised as the food is not expensive (ordered their steak for around 800 I believe), and it was near perfect. Also, appreciate that their service crew is attentive and asked if we wanted our dessert to be served early--most restaurants don't do this anymore as they serve whatever is done without properly thinking what should the order be. Will definitely go back to this place as it's a hidden gem though a bit far from our home."

"This review was requested and proudly made by my 6-year-old son, Liam, after their Valentine’s date with his mom and brother at Josephine Backyard in Taal The food was excellent, especially the fish fillet, crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Liam absolutely loved it! The Oreo shake was also a big hit , creamy, delicious, and definitely a must-try. They also ordered the baby back ribs. The meat was tender, but the sauce was a bit sour for Liam’s taste. Kids usually prefer something a little sweeter, but adults might enjoy the tangy flavor. The ambiance was perfect for a Valentine’s date: cozy, relaxing, and family-friendly. Liam said he had such a special time with his mom. Highly recommended for families and for sweet little date nights in Taal!"
